London based vocalist LOLA is an artist that takes time to meticulously craft the world around her. Exactly a year on from her debut single ‘Mountain Dew’, today, LOLA releases ‘Care’ – an immersive cut of modern R&B that grows in intrigue with every listen.

On the track, LOLA says: "'Care' is about gratitude. It’s about only realising what you had once it was gone; whether you came to that realisation in life or in death, it’s a universal truth. Most of us aren’t as appreciative of what we have as we could be. Care is about envisioning a life beyond expectations and pressures, beyond life or death, and seeing whether what we prioritise is really important. When we die, what was it that really mattered? What was the point? The song is a reminder to myself, and to others, to appreciate what we have in the present."

The track was produced by our production / writing duo Exmoor Emperor.

Lola 'Care' released on Different Recordings / PIAS.
